Jek, Dani dan Felix adalah tiga sahabat yang tinggal di kota Elat, pulau Kei Besar, Maluku Tenggara. Suatu hari, mereka keluar dari zona nyaman merak untuk menaklukan rasa takut mereka: berenang menyeberang selat Elat menuju Pulau Ivat. Tapi bagaimana mereka melakukannya? Jek, Dani and Felix are three buddies who lives in Elat city on Kei Besar island, one of the Southeast Moluccas. One day, they stepped out of their comfort zone to conquer their fear: to swim across the strait of Elat Sea to Ivat island. But how would they do that? They didn’t have enough proper equipment to help them. No swimming glass, no floating vest, and the sea was cold. Will they give up? Jek, Dani, and Felix wrote down their stories right after they succeed conquering their fears. There was feeling of proud and confidence as they managed to overcome challanges and problems with simple approach.

The illustrators on the book were drawn by Mela, a student of Sanata Karya Highschool, Langgur, Kei Kecil. Mela feels that as teenanger living in Kei island, has a special meaning to her. She hopes that young generation in Kei Island will be capable to prepare themselves in the coming changes. Having the ability to utilize nature without destroying it, and protect Kei’s pristine nature.
