Do you know that cow’s manure is a treasure? Yes it is! Cow manure can make soil fertile and fixing the soil structure. It’s one of the main ingredients of organic fertilizer and a favorite to the microorganism which will become high nutrients for plants.

Especially in Kei Besar, only one person who successful breed cows as cows have to be transported by big boat from another island.

Today, several teens from around the community garden help us piling up cow manure from the beach. It was a lot of fun as we met several small calf too. They are indeed very cute!
