Finally the day arrived when we came to The Learning Farm basecamp in Cianjur to have our four young scholars from Kei Besar island started their education in organic farming.
They were so excited to meet several friends who will spend a hundred days together with them. We met Yesti and Noni, girls from Soe, East Nusa Tenggara. We finally also met Mr. Saryoto, our interviewer and Mrs. Diane, our English teacher from Australia.
They will be with other 42 teenagers coming from provinces of Indonesia, such as Aceh, West Kalimantan, Java, North and South Sulawesi, etc. We will even meet three scholars from Somalia and Afghanistan.
All of them will learn together about cultivating land, team work, build confidence, practicing English and operating computers.
Thank you The laerning Farm form giving us the opportunity to be agents of change!
